Summary
Before Simon, there had been many others who went down into the blood ocean and never came back up. Their penance served, justice prevailing in the depths where no ghostlight could penetrate. The SM-9, like the SM-8, had been a catastrophic loss after it disconnected from the Tow Ship and was embedded into the side of the AT-5's trench, stuck so deeply in gore in viscera.
