Bakugou is distracted by the smell of his cologne and doesn’t realize Kirishima has grabbed his contact lens case until Kirishima has a lens balanced on his fingertip. “Stay still. Eyes open.”
Bakugou gapes at him. “I don’t need your fucking help, asshole!”
“Trust me, dude,” Kirishima laughs, “this is less about helping you and more about getting this show on the road.” His other hand comes up to rest on Bakugou’s face, his thumb on his cheekbone like the doctor had done, gently pulling his lower eyelid down to widen his eye. Bakugou is frozen under Kirishima’s deceptively soft touch, feeling the force of him keeping Bakugou still. He tilts Bakugou’s head back. The edge of the counter digs into the small of Bakugou’s back as he instinctively tries to recoil, his eyes already watering. “Hold still. I’ve got you.”
