Both Follo and the Stranger jolt in surprise at the sudden company which gives Zanka ample time to take in the other's appearance. He's around the same height, well dressed though a little too warm for the weather, fur trim jacket more at home somewhere up north.
North? Zanka realises, throwing a sidelong glance at Follo. Does that mean–
"I'm not actually a client," the Stranger says.
Or: Alan visits the Cleaners.

Zanka jolts, eyes going deer-in-headlights mode, before he registers Enjin standing there, which triggers an interesting on-and-off skittishness as he stares for a moment. Then he quickly turns to squint at a particularly offensive film of dust over an even more offensive clutter of books. “Ōsouji.”
Ōsouji. Ōsouji. He’s heard that term somewhere before, he’s sure. After a moment of thinking it clicks. Oh, that.

Summary
Zanka has nearly died against Jabber twice, and to no one's surprise these incidents reach his siblings' ears.
For a Nijiku to die to Raider filth is embarrassing. For a Nijiku to die to a codependent? That's humiliating, even for the Nijiku failure. Their reputation is too costly to lose to a mistake like Zanka. So, Kyouka and Goka come back around to the Cleaners' HQ to do some resource management.
