Twelve years ago, Louis left Greyhaven without a goodbye.
No explanation. No phone call. No letter. Nothing but silence where Harry’s entire future used to be.
Now Harry is back in the town he swore he would never return to, building a life he insists is fine, normal, untouched. Louis is not supposed to be there. Louis is supposed to be a closed chapter, a boy from another lifetime, a wound Harry learned to stop pressing.
Except Louis is there.
He owns a bookshop. He still says Harry’s name like it hurts. And somewhere behind all his apologies is the truth Harry has spent twelve years pretending he no longer wants.

Summary
Some stories begin with fate.
This one begins with a mistake.Harry Styles has always been the kind of person who does the right thing. He studies hard, keeps his head down, and avoids trouble like it’s contagious. So when a text from an unknown number pops up late at night, cryptic, urgent, and very much not meant for him he should ignore it.
He doesn’t.
“send dudes” was not meant for Harry. Yet it drags him into a back-alley fight he was never meant to see. A stranger bleeding on the ground, a gang ready to finish the job, and Harry, too kind for his own good, steps in anyway.
Louis Tomlinson meant to text his friend Liam. He really did. And now he is bleeding, in debt, and one bad decision away from not making it home. He‘s used to this by now. What he’s not used to is some soft-looking, stubborn stranger showing up out of nowhere and refusing to leave him behind.
Between wrong numbers, right punches and one very questionable house call, they end up tangled in something neither of them expected.

Louis texts the wrong number, Harry saves his life anyway, and now they’re both kinda in trouble.

Summary
It’s Louis’ first year at Manchester United’s football academy, and he’s dead set on doing it right. With Harry by his side, the world is there for the taking. Playing for the Under-21’s team, the path to becoming the next star of the Premier League is clear.
He didn’t expect to have to deal with a new coach, missing his friends, and a homophobic teammate making his life that much worse. Hiding his relationship with Harry seems like a good plan until it doesn’t, and handling things in general doesn’t seem to be his thing.
Or: The one where Louis and Harry definitely love each other, and football still is everything. (Maybe it shouldn’t be.)
