Summary
It is common knowledge that a sorcerer who forcibly parts with their magic is most likely doomed to a slow, horrible death.
It was a shame, Loki felt, because he wasn’t quite fond of having it around.

Summary
It has been one year since the death of Prince Hamlet. In that time, a grief-stricken Horatio has tried and failed to transcribe the tragedy that led to the untimely death of the man he loved most. Unable to cope with his grief and guilt, Horatio attempts to throw himself into the sea, only to be rescued by the newly crowned King Fortinbras. In the wake of his attempted suicide, Horatio finds that he has become unstuck from time. Determined to save Hamlet from an untimely demise, Horatio goes back and forth between past and present to sever the rot in Denmark. However as he begins to grow closer to Fortinbras and his wife, and his attempts to thwart the tragedy continue to fail, Horatio is forced to confront horrible truths living at the heart of not only Elsinore, but himself

Summary
Two months after the tragedy at Castle Elsinore, Horatio is left on his own, with no true friends by his side. Now appointed as Fortinbras's royal advisor, he's the most successful he's ever been. Yet his mind cannot get over the deceased crown prince of Denmark, whose death seems impossible to ignore. One night, though, Hamlet reappears in Horatio's life just as quickly as he left, and Horatio has to decide how to deal with the newly revived prince of Denmark.
(or, after the events of the play, Hamlet is brought back to life and can only trust Horatio in an Elsinore unfamiliar to the one he left)
