Summary
Player 456, eliminated, came the game's automated broadcast — voice as cold and sweet as death, cutting through the dormitory silence in the middle of the night.
Confusion and something that screamed wrong crawled inside Gi-hun's stomach. He didn't have time to react, or ask what that meant, when a guard approached and a needle sank into the side of his neck, stripping him of consciousness.

Summary
Hwang In-ho, a stern and respected police officer, was bestowed upon by his Captain the privilege, to which he could not say no, of babysitting an entitled, spoiled, middle-aged famous superstar-slash-diva (whom In-ho could not stand), Seong Gi-hun.
Meanwhile Gi-hun just wanted to be done with the same detective character that'd been keeping him from any other roles ever since the sudden breakthrough in his career. To honor this wish, Gi-hun's director and his agent took another step to ensure the show went on indefinitely, by sending Gi-hun to shadow a real cop, namely; Hwang In-ho — for the sake of the show's being as realistic as possible.
Two irritated middle-aged men brought together by fate. One's a cop. The other's a superstar. Both have one thing in common; the resentment they hold for each other. It's gonna be fun.

Summary
Hwang In-ho would not call himself a whore. Or kinky. Despite having had a wife, a baby on the way, and very clearly not being a virgin. He simply believed in the traditional side of things, including sex and what a man was expected to do to please the woman he married. That is until he met Seong Gi-hun who turned his world upside down.
Or, Gi-hun taught In-ho the wonders of gay sex and being a bottom.
