“I don’t remember picking this up,” Jungkook says a little dreamily, staring down at the ring sitting in his palm. “I wasn’t really planning on coming into a shop today.”
“Most people don’t plan on coming here,” Seokjin replies, eyes boring into Jungkook’s. “Why don’t you keep it anyway,” he shrugs. “Consider it a thank you for being a regular customer.”
“A regular?” Jungkook asks, swaying forward a little wearily. “I told you, this is my first time here?” The words come out as a question, feeling less and less sure of himself.

Summary
After disowning his anti-Elemental family, Jungkook seeks Elemental help for his chronic pain. He finds The Magic Shop, which has much more to offer him than just tinctures and amulets.

Jungkook raises his chin to look up at the sky. The light pollution obscures the stars. Suddenly, Yoongi wants to take Jungkook somewhere remote. Maybe they could travel up to the mountains for a vacation. Yoongi imagines lying under shining stars and breathing mountain air and listening to the sounds of cicadas with Jungkook by his side.
“What about you?” Jungkook asks.
Yoongi responds with a confused hum, distracted by his fantasies of a mountain cabin vacation with Jungkook. Jungkook clarifies, “Was your Element celebrated where you grew up?”
Yoongi is slammed back into reality. He stops walking for a moment, then starts back up. Jungkook keeps pace with him. A gentle wave washes onto the shore, and sea foam piles around Jungkook's feet before sinking down into the sand. Yoongi watches the sea foam, unable to look Jungkook in the eyes. He says, “Um, not really.” Then, he’s more honest. “Not at all, actually.”

“Hello, Jungkook-ssi,” he said, giving him a smile that was not toothy but was very dimply. His voice was muffled through the glass and water, but he spoke like he knew Jungkook could hear him. “I’m Kim Namjoon. I’ll be handling your care from now on.”
Jungkook stared at him for a moment before offering a tiny wave. When Kim Namjoon’s smile did turn toothy and his dimples still didn’t disappear, Jungkook swam away quickly and ducked behind a rock, his cheeks red-red even under the cold-cold water.
