Jisung could ask about music. Hockey. Anything normal. Anything that wouldn't make his heart try to claw out of his ribs.

Summary
The cold caress of a phantom hand, fingertips grazing along the slope of his nose and tracing the line of his jaw. He is drowning in visions; flashes of dark tufts of hair, crimson pools of metallic liquid, low lights of a bar Jisung has never stepped foot in and the labored breathing of a set of lungs that is not his own. A strange feeling of elation, euphoria coursing through his veins which throb in his arms and neck. His own body is standing stock-still, outside the bar, and he watches himself as his shoulder is grabbed by a police officer. Jisung feels jealousy unlike anything he has ever possessed, a carnal urge to rip the officer’s ribs out of his body and lick the blood clean from bone.
“While there is little to no information regarding the creature attack, the only thing we can do is hope and pray he has fled the city for good.”
Or: Jisung gets a box. Inside that box, Minho is waiting patiently.

Summary
‘You’re getting divorced?’ he asks, his voice so sudden and jarringly loud that everyone else stills to look at him. He hopes they can’t see the absolute glee he feels right now plastered all over his face.
‘Jisung,’ his mother scolds him, like he’s not supposed to be butting in the men’s conversation like that. She smacks him across the arm with the dish towel, but Jisung can’t look at her right now. He’s too busy staring into Minho’s eyes, looking at him staring right back.
Did he hear that wrong? His heart is beating so hard he feels like he might collapse.

Summary
A minute passes. Then two. This fucking asshole is at the top of Minho’s shit list, and the longer he waits, the more frothed up with fury he gets.
The phone rings.
“Lee Minho speaking.”
“Um, hi.” The voice on the other end is deep and cracked with tiredness, frayed at the edges. “This is Doctor Han. Did you page me?”
“Yeah, I’m the on-call pharmacist and your prescribing is dog-shit.”

The silence that descends is swift and echoing and it completely blindsides Jisung. It’s a record scratch and a freeze frame if there ever was one and his first instinct is to check for Minho’s reaction.
