Mark’s face is something between awe and agony. Breathless disbelief that they get this. And Helena thinks then that even being loved mistakenly is better than not being loved at all. A trespasser; she’ll exist in this shared body and wring out what she can, feed herself on stolen parts that aren’t meant for her but taste so sweet anyways. Her teeth ache with it.
