Summary
When Jungkook, a beta, is tasked with taking care of Taehyung during his preheat, he's determined to do it well. He desperately wants to show his boyfriends, his pack, that he can do a good job- that he can be good. He feeds Taehyung by hand, keeps him hydrated, obediently fetches pain medications and lets himself be used as a human teddy bear. Anything to make the preheat easier.
But then...suddenly, Jungkook can't stop thinking about how the nest Taehyung built is all wrong. The omega is asleep, but he wouldn't mind if Jungkook fixed it, right? Just moved some of these blankets into the right spot, where it's so much cozier? Maybe he'd even be happy, proud that Jungkook knows just how to fix the nest for them both to share. Sure he's ignoring the burning heat in his stomach, the dizziness floating behind his eyes, but that's not important. The nest is important. It has to be safe, has to be perfect.
When Taehyung wakes up to a completely different nest, a sick packmate, and an unfamiliar scent, he realizes Jungkook /might/ not be a beta anymore.

Summary
Namjoon’s brain comes back online, trying to make the connections. There are multiple people working at the music lab, sure, but only one all of them are friends with. “Wait, you kissed Yoongi?”
If the motion of all the heads turning towards one single destination had a sound, Namjoon imagines it would be this kind of stumped silence surrounding them all. Of course Jimin chooses this exact moment to slip back into the room. “Well, who hasn’t? That would be the better question,” they giggle as they shrug off their jacket and Hosook pulls them back down onto their lap.
Or:
Kim Namjoon figures out he might be a) not straight actually b) a little jealous everyone but him has kissed his best friend c) very much in love with said best friend Min Yoongi.
