During his months in SHIELD, Steve is assigned to work alongside his fellow Avenger Natasha to quietly take out Hydra-branches secretly nesting inside Shield. Things take a dramatic turn once a vicious attack renders Steve momentarily blind, and he has to be protected by a mysterious figure Fury had hidden somewhere in his basement.

“What the hell? You guys took forever,” a voice said from somewhere in front of a blindfolded Sam as the men holding him forced him to a stop. “We’re kind of on a schedule here, it’d be nice if you followed it. Let’s go.”
He was once again shoved forward, this time being led down a staircase. Sam almost tripped down the first one, but one of the hands gripping him kept him on his feet. Fifteen steps, Sam counted. Fifteen steps down into… wherever he was.
Someone groaned as he was brought forward, and the voice from before said, “You can shut it.”
“Hmph, and you… you can fuck off."
Yeah, Sam was pretty sure that was Bucky.
