Элио сказал Стелле, что их судьбы переплетены. Обещал, что они изменят друг друга. Сценарий уже написан, остаётся ему следовать. Они предназначены друг другу судьбой, значит, Стелле нечего бояться, верно?

Summary
Взгляд Кафки дикий. В её глазах отражается буря, и это так ей идёт — кажется, она соткана из разрушающей стихии. Во взгляде Кафки безумие и наслаждение. А ещё — жадность.
Жар распространяется по телу, скапливается в животе и скручивается тугим узлом, когда Стелла понимает, что этот взгляд направлен на неё. В глазах Кафки горит желание уничтожить, растерзать и съесть, подчинить, растворить до последней капли.
Стелла так сильно хочет её поцеловать.

"Then, please at least answer me this," Stelle takes a step closer. "Don't you care at all?"
"Stelle, I think it's quite simple." Kafka diffuses the tension; she finally meets Stelle's eyes, soft and sweet. The most honest she's ever been as a hand meets Stelle's cheek. "I'm not interested in your past or the very distant future. Instead, I've chosen the you of tomorrow, the one that's within my reach. Because I know that tomorrow, you'll still be here with me."
"Talking about the inevitable; losing your memories, making me your enemy, it's all unimportant when I have you now. Don't you agree?"
"I suppose," Stelle fidgets. "But a little of your concern would be nice."
(Or, Stelle wants Kafka in a way unrequited. But no matter what life Stelle lives, with the Stellaron Hunters or the Astral Express, she will always find her way back to Kafka.)

Перед глазами всплывало болезненно родное лицо, малиновые волосы, внимательные глаза, отчуждённые, но изучающие. Они впивались в неё острыми иглами и не давали проникнуть в ответ, вглядишься в них - там нет ничего. Нет ответов на вопросы, которые так хочется задать.
