Summary
There are three things everybody knows:
Jingyi would never turn down a good bet.
Jingyi is notoriously unlucky.
And Jingyi has a hopeless, unrequited crush on his best friend’s uncle.
So when after a night of heavy drinking at a Halloween party it’s Jingyi who has to deliver a very drunk, very pale Jin Ling onto Jiang Cheng’s doorstep, it feels like one giant cosmic joke. Except the universe is rarely amusing, and soon Jingyi finds himself confronted with the consequences of taking on one too many silly bets.
