    Buck smiles at the ceiling as the cracks grow larger, he closes his eyes and rummages through his memories for all the moments he can think of with his family. His sister’s happy family, Bobby, Athena and their family, Hen with her wife and kids, Chim making his sister happy. Chris and Eddie…his boys, laughing together, being each other's towers.

    He should’ve asked Eddie for more information, should’ve tried harder to fix whatever he did wrong. He could’ve changed, for Eddie he would’ve. Buck coughs again, the smoke is too much now, he can barely breathe now, he will die full of regrets.

    He opens his eyes one last time just to see the ceiling finally give in.

    OR:
    Eddie breaks up with Buck because he's scared to hurt him (ironic). Buck thinks it's his fault, Buck gets hurt at work while Eddie is at home. Buck still has Eddie as his emergency contact and Eddie realizes he needs to fix his mistakes.
