Dean doesn’t understand these ridiculous and insensitive draconian laws.
Half breeds should never be segregated from “Normal” wolf society.
Tormented, Ridiculed, marked and abused all because half breeds were unable to transform and were stuck in between wolf and human from birth till end of life.
Dean is what the current society would call ‘Normal Wolf’ who attended a highschool for the ‘Normal’ Alphas, betas and omegas called Sioux Falls High.
But every day after school, his focus would be directed to the Half Breed Highschool directly opposite his. All fenced and isolated from the rest of society.
And everyday he would spot a half breed he calls ‘blue eyes’ sitting under the same oak tree, nose buried deep into whatever he was reading. From here he could see a thin iron shackle that was looped around the ankle of blue eyes, like a branding.
Maybe it’s time for introductions…

Summary
Alphas now preferred betas to omegas. They are more versatile, headstrong, had a higher chance of bearing more healthier and stronger pups and were excellent secondary leaders.
Through time the choosing of a beta over an omega has been ingrained and encouraged amongst young alphas. Parents taught their children the importance of doing so.
Omega’s were downgraded to house help, slaves or pack whores.
Michael feared for his omega son Castiel.
One day Michael asked, “Son what do you want to become when you grow up?”
Five year old Castiel beamed, looking so innocent, “I want to be married to Dean papa!”
Michaels heart squeezed even further. He knew it was a pipe dream but he would keep it to himself for now.
And so 15 years pass….

Summary
Being in love with someone who is still confused and unsure about what he wants is one of the most hurtful things to experience.
But everyday, Castiel hoped that Dean would realize. Everyday Castiel believed that Dean would get better.
But that was far from the truth.
His alpha and bestfriend Dean continued to hurt him and he continued to stay.
He loved Dean.
He loved Dean too much and he would change for Dean. He would give up anything for Dean; his self respect, his dreams, his own happiness.
