He stayed in the redhead’s room for hours, consoling him and giving him a shoulder to cry on. He canceled training with Izuku to get Kirishima back on his feet. He pushed back their dates to cook dinner for him. He disregarded Izuku’s texts to spend time with him. 

    And Izuku, tragically, understood. 

    As the first petal tumbled from his busted lips after returning from patrol one March evening in their third year, he understood perfectly.

    I am currently crying my eyes out, this is so much sadder then I thought it would be and now I’m paying the price at 2 in the morning. It is so well written and so so sad, I love the way that Katsuki says that Izuku is his best and I love the way Izuku held no resentment towards him after all that he went through. Usually I would never ever read anything with a kiribaku tag (Bakudeku for life) but I thought I should give this one a go for shits and giggles but now that I have read it there was in fact no giggle or shits just buckets and buckets full of salty tears
    This was an amazing fic and to make my self cry I would definitely read this again💚🧡💚🧡
