That Eidolon in his unconscious desire gave her not only the urge to fight him. That, maybe, Simurgh could be a real ally after all; and that Simurgh could possess some humanity in the face of the apocalypse as well.

But where Weaver didn’t have anybody who would be ready to push through her walls and convictions, Taylor still had a girl who would do anything for her – and unlike with Taylor, for that girl it didn’t mean sacrificing her life. Mostly. But just having Lisa near her on this day already meant everything to Taylor.
