Elias' thoughts and desires can still be as much of a mystery to her as the day she met him, and perhaps this particular problem can not resolve the way she wants.Can she hide her need from Elias, or more precisely, resist it long enough to figure out what to do with it? Or is her distant silence pushing him away? Meanwhile, the Thorn Child struggles with his own demons.

That RobinThorn one that's well written, has great sex moments, delicious angst, great use of Ruth as a character, but also some really uncharacteristic decisions from Chise to advance the drama, a lot of sex ed exposition I could do without, and some really disgusting breeder convos, especially from fucking Chise, in some earlier chapters. Unfinished. In the end I'm left with mixed feelings on this because I only ever skip parts of fics when I'm so excited to see what happens that I can't make my eyes read every line to the end, but this time I skipped big chunks of text because they gave me the ick.
As hot as the rebound sex is I can't see Chise fighting away her social anxiety to get blackout drunk at parties for days in a row. Hmm. Might want to save an altered version of this fic. At least do away with the weird child talk? I'm concerned about where that is going, if anywhere, because we stopped bringing up contraception in the story, when at the beginning it was this huge deal. I'm very excited to read about Chise and Elias clashing and making up in the more recent chapters, but in the back of my mind I have concerns for that plot point, as well as for the whole plotline with Stella which has of recent puttered away.
