Part II - Trailblazer - Ventus' whereabouts during the 50 years he was apart from Vanitas.
Part III - Wildfire - Vanitas' endeavors with Chirithy during the 50 years he spent searching for Ventus.

Summary
“You haven’t said anything in weeks and yet the first thing you say is this? Thanks very much, Venty, you really are an idiot extraordinaire,” despite the spasms that lingered in every fiber of his muscles, Vanitas really genuinely laughed because he had missed this so much. Just Ventus saying obvious things and Vanitas calling him out on his idiocy. No Xehanort. No Luxu. No Unversed or Lux or Reapers or Beloved Creations. Just him and his most precious person.
“I met Ava and Gula today,” Vanitas sighed as he rested on the cool floor, relaxing despite the hardness of the marble tiles. “Can you believe that they’re sorry for what they did to you? Fucking laughable.” Ventus didn’t say anything and Vanitas honestly didn’t know if he was even listening. But he stayed and that was all that mattered.
Eventually, he regained just enough strength to stand up on his own feet. He pulled Ventus onto the bed and cuddled him close.
“I won’t give you up. Not to them. Not to Luxu. Not to Xehanort. Not to anyone. We’ll survive this, you and me.”
Ventus hummed.--
