Summary
One thing about Roach that could never be understated, was that he was clingy. He was very touchy with his friends, always reaching for a hug, patting them on the shoulders and back, even just light brushes against their arms when he failed to process the concept of personal space (it's happened more times than he'd like to admit). All in all, he enjoyed being close with people, he relished in the ability to just hold someone he cared for, even with all the weird looks he may get for it.
The problem is, most people he's close with aren't as touchy as he is. The idea of pulling Ghost of all people into a hug seemed immediately off the table, even as they became closer and more comfortable with each other. While Gaz and Price had never exactly shied away from Roach's touch, it was clear they were more humoring him than anything else.
That made Soap's introduction to the team a blessing for Roach. Unfortunately that also made Roach fall for him, complicating Roach's relationship with both Soap and Ghost in the process.
