"You wanna help me?" His voice was unrecognizable to even himself, deep and rugged in an almost animalistic way—he didn't pay it any mind.
Will nodded, much too innocently for the situation.
Mike sighed, more of a gravelly ripple in his chest than an actual breath.
"I need a taste." Will froze at that, his head tilting in confusion, "Please?" The alpha begged.
Just as it felt like Will would try to escape again, Mike tightened his grip.
"T-taste of what?" He asked, but stuttered, like he already knew what.
Mike inhaled, breath hitching at that heavy syrupy scent, "You."

Summary
“Will!!”
Joyce’s scream cuts through the desolate air of Dimension X. She drops to her knees, eyes fixed on Will, who’s on all fours, head hanging, chest heaving. His hands sink into the ash as his body begins to shake, sharp and uncontrollable.
Mike darts forward. “Will?! Will!! Are you okay?!”
The others follow, fear written across their faces. Robin kneels before him, reaching out. Her voice just above a whisper.
“Will?”
Slowly, he lifts his head. Green eyes are gone—replaced by milky white orbs staring into Robin’s blue ones.
Gasps ripple through the group. This isn’t Will. The gentleness is gone. The warmth Will carried has now shifted with a cold murderous look. As if the light was drained out of him. A smirk curls across his lips.
His voice is low, chilling, yet almost tender:
“I told you… every door you leave open, I walk through.”Vecna has found his way back home.
Will was never the target. He was the way in.

Will Byers has a habit of noticing things he probably shouldn’t.A fake relationship sounds harmless enough—just something to get through the summer in Hawkins, explain a few sleeping arrangements, and maybe irritate the right people. It’s not supposed to mean anything. It’s definitely not supposed to make anyone jealous.
But loud jokes turn into quiet moments, and pretending starts to feel a little too real. And if the plan began just to make two boys squirm, no one is prepared for what happens when it actually works.

“No!” Mike exclaimed, “Holly, I’m not marrying him!”
“Why?” Holly whined, as Mike tried to walk away. She threw both arms around his legs and sank to the floor, sitting on his feet so that it was extremely difficult to walk.
“Because,” said Mike, trying to free himself from her grip by shaking his legs. She only held on tighter.
“But he’s so amazing,” said Holly, as Mike shuffled his feet slowly when he realised she would not be relinquishing her hold on him anytime soon. He dragged her into the hallway so he could put on his coat. “He’s the best, most incrediblest, most fantastic babysitter in the whole world! You should marry him!”
Or; Will Byers, well-known as an outcasted freak at Hawkins High, is Holly Wheeler’s babysitter, and perhaps the loveliest person Mike has ever met.

Season 5 of Stranger things was supposed to be about saving Hawkins.
Instead it becomes about losing Will Byers.
Sleep doesn’t feel like sleep anymore. Time slips. Voices follow him into the quiet. And in the dark, there is someone waiting, patient, understanding, and far too familiar.
The worst part is not that something is wrong.
It’s that Will isn’t sure he wants it to stop.
