    Summary

Chuuya frowns. “…What the hell is this?”

Adam finally speaks, voice even as glass. “Your core structure.”

“You Europeans have a sick sense of humor.” Chuuya laughs. He actually laughs—short, sharp, almost barked. “You-... You're telling me my soul runs on a word processor now?”

Adam runs a deep diagnostic on Chuuya. The results reveal something he was never meant to see—lines of code where a human soul should be. As the truth unravels on a cold, humming screen, Chuuya is forced to confront what he is, what he feels, and whether any of it was ever real. It’s not the revelation that breaks him—but the fact that knowing the truth doesn’t change anything.

    Summary

Verlaine spent his whole life wanting to find that other desolate lone comet burning at the same temperature as him. But it seems he only ever considered finding a companion during a comet's journey and not the comet's destination.

Spent all night thinking about Verlaine's comet analogy instead of sleeping and of course I had to make it about Rimlaine.
