Summary
[“Well, I already have the plans in place to be back mid-June,” Zuko says, firm. “My classes won’t be started yet, so I can be there to—”
“Don’t worry about it,” Aang repeats, laughing. “There’s plenty of time!”
Which is true in its own way, two and a half whole months until the little sucker arrives, so Sokka isn’t quite sure why hearing Aang say hits him in the gut quite so hard.
Must be that indigestion.]
OR,
Sokka and Zuko have been roommates and best friends through college and graduation, through first jobs and new jobs and promotions, through friends getting married and sisters being pregnant and everything in between.
But that all ends in four days.
Four days to pack up an apartment. Four days before Zuko goes to law school and Sokka stays behind. Four days to untangle two lives that Sokka and Zuko have spent ten years weaving together.
Can you call it a divorce, if you were never actually together in the first place?

Summary
Captain Raheed and his deaf servant Asan were destined to battle with Hahnars for the Mulli Empire. But things go awry, and they are both exiled to the desert, where the only hope to be found comes in the form of some very hostile Hahnars who aren't terribly enthusiastic about their Mulli visitors. However, while Raheed is imprisoned, Asan is taken in by the leader himself, Sumas Dasaf as if he were a welcome guest. Here Asan is given a choice. If Asan leaves, Raheed will be kept as a prisoner for all time. If Asan stays, Raheed's freedom is granted. Nothing can be determined until Raheed recovers from his near-mortal injuries. In the meantime, Asan comes to learn that perhaps the Hahnars aren't as "savage" as textbooks claimed . . . and that he may have more in common with Dasaf and his people than he ever thought possible.

Summary
Raheed is bhanak, a "slave soldier" who was bought, educated, and trained by the Mulli empire to pillage and conquer surrounding nations. When stationed in the rural town of Khafa, befriends an odd beggar boy, Asan, who lacks both speech and hearing. Together, Raheed and Asan craft a rudimentary sign language to communicate, at least before Raheed is whisked away to war. After witnessing the death and horror of battle, Raheed returns several years later no longer the carefree boy from before-- but then again, Asan is not left unscarred by his own experiences either. Raheed decides to take Asan back to the capital with him, where Asan can work as a servant to earn his keep while Raheed advances his position in the military. A fierce yet complicated bond grows between them, though neither sees it the same way as the other. Eventually, it is not just their loyalties to a nation that is tested, but also their loyalty to one another. M/M and M/F

Summary
Remus is confused and Lily is furious when her old school mates James Potter and Sirius Black come to work as doctors at St Mungo's where Lily and Remus both work.
The grin softened a bit, and Sirius extended his hand. “It’s nice to meet you, Lupin. Formally.”
“Remus,” he corrected as he closed his large hand round the long, slender fingers.
“Then Sirius for me, if you’d like.”
Remus felt his smile widen a bit. He wanted to dislike this mostly childish, obnoxious Doctor. He really did, but with that grin, and the slight dimple in his left cheek, he couldn’t help it. Lily might hate him for it, but he just couldn’t care.
