One does not usually expect to end up about 500 years in the past because of a mirror, nor do they expect to end up in a completely different hemisphere and yet that is what happened to (Y/N). Now she has to jump between the present and the past to work out what this Ryū no kokoro is, how it relates to her and what to do about it so she can go back to her normal life.
