“It won’t work.” Owen crouched near the door to the cell. The place smelled of silver and grime, making him wrinkle his nose. The thin bars of the cell made it easy for him to see the doctor. “It takes more than that scrape to kill a vampire.”
Legundo didn’t look his way. “I said get out.”
“Protective of your prison, Doctor?” He pulled a bottle of crimson out of his pocket, offering it through the bars. “Starvation won’t kill you either.”

“I wish you’d been my sire. You’re not so… distracted.” Pyro admitted, imagining it. Owen wouldn’t treasure him, he wouldn’t expect that. But Owen didn’t feel anything towards anyone, there would be no one for him to be jealous of.
The long haired vampire paused. “I would’ve ignored you. And I would’ve hated being called a sire.” Owen picked up a stick, breaking it into little pieces as he spoke.
Pyro couldn’t help imagining himself as that stick, fractured and tiny in someone else’s palms.

Once he was dry and dressed, he stepped into the motel room, only to find Castiel, sitting at the small table at the far end of the room, a book in hand. Right on cue, Cas looked up at him, expression the same as always, but the way his eyes traveled up and down Dean’s body was anything but casual.
“Hello, Dean. How was your shower?” he asked, his voice sounding even deeper and rougher than normal. Dean shivered, his body thrumming under Cas’ careful attention. He was used to Cas staring, but there was something different about this look. Cas looked at him like he was undressing him with his eyes, trying to picture what Dean looked like under his clothes, and then it clicked.
Oh, fuck, he totally heard me, didn’t he?
