Summary

Después de un accidente que lo deja al borde de la muerte, Aerion despierta en un hospital donde nada es como debería, o quizás todo lo es demasiado. Entre el dolor físico y la pérdida de control que siempre evitó, se ve obligado a depender de otros por primera vez en su vida.
En ese lugar es donde conoce a Duncan, su médico.
Tranquilo, paciente, y completamente ajeno al mundo rígido en el que Aerion siempre conoció, Duncan se convierte en una presencia constante. Alguien que no lo juzga, que no le teme y que, poco a poco, empieza a desarmar cada una de sus defensas.
Lo que comienza como una relación incómoda y distante, evoluciona en algo mucho más profundo, en un espacio donde Aerion descubre una versión de sí mismo que nunca creyó posible. Una versión en donde el control no lo es todo, y donde sentir deja de ser una debilidad.
Pero hay cosas que no pueden sostenerse para siempre.

Summary
After an accident that leaves him on the brink of death, Aerion wakes up in a hospital where nothing is as it should be, or perhaps everything is too much. Between the physical pain and the loss of control he always avoided, he is forced to depend on others for the first time in his life.
It is there that he meets Duncan, his doctor.
Calm, patient, and completely detached from the rigid world Aerion has always known, Duncan becomes a constant presence. Someone who doesn't judge him, who isn't afraid of him, and who, little by little, begins to dismantle each of his defenses.
What begins as an awkward and distant relationship evolves into something much deeper, a space where Aerion discovers a version of himself he never thought possible. A version where control isn't everything, and where feeling ceases to be a weakness.
But some things can't last forever.
And when reality begins to reclaim its place, Aerion will have to face a truth that goes far beyond physical pain: understanding what can be real, what cannot... and what it means to love when not everything can stay.
