Summary
As the song gets closer and closer to its end, Wilhelm realizes he needs to get moving, or else he’ll miss his chance. He steps out onto the stage, walking between the instrumentalists and right behind Simon. There are lights, fog, of course, the music. The whole thing is very overwhelming, but the loud cheers from the crowd as they realize what is happening push him on.
He steps up behind Simon and wraps his arms around him. He feels the other man tense only for a moment before falling back against Wilhelm, laughing.

Summary
“Care to explain why you are dressing up as a peasant?” Simon asks with an exaggerated whisper, as he wants to avoid the people around him who will hear his words.
He could easily read the mind of the man and find out the truth quickly, but where is the fun in that? Simon is having the most fun he has had in weeks, if not even months or years, and sometimes a bit of patience goes a long way. The man intrigues him, and he wants to find out with his own words why he is here in the first place.
The man pales.
“I am not!” he argues, and Simon cannot help but start laughing.
“How can someone sound so confident when they also know they are not telling the truth?” Simon wonders with a smile. “You are a very curious person.”

The boy before him is close to death, Wilhelm begrudgingly notices. The pulse slowed down quite a while ago, the heart is beating weakly, and the skin is white despite the usually darker complexion.
Well, being drained of your blood for hours and hours and hours certainly leaves a mark, Wilhelm thinks smugly, and it is all because of him. What a shame it is the boy must die soon and cannot be kept around like a picnic basket, always ready and full and promising the best flavors of his blood.
This will be a night he will remember for a long time.

It really wasn't Edvin’s fault. It was just dumb blind bad luck. Any other time, he was very happy when Edvin decided to walk around his apartment naked. Though since they had started this friends with benefits situation a year and a half ago, Edvin had a few slip ups on the whole “let’s not make this public” part of their agreement.

Edvin’s mouth is on his ear suddenly, his voice thick and warm, “Don’t drop the award,” He says, his lips brushing Omar’s neck. He doesn't kiss him, but it's close enough that all of Omar’s blood rushes down his spine anyway.
Omar’s stomach is in knots. He can feel the entire room watching, the whispers, the flashes. Everyone, Edvin’s girlfriend included, is watching them.
“I got it,” Omar giggles, pushing Edvin’s shoulder a little bit.

Simon is upcoming star on the rise but with that comes with dangers, as he is an omega who is now becoming famous. His team decides to hire a personal bodyguard for him.
Wille isn’t new to being a bodyguard nor are they new to being one for omegas. They thought this job would be like any other job.
Both decide to be professional, because Simon doesn’t want an alpha anyways. And Wille doesn’t want to be placed in the same box as alphas. It shouldn’t be difficult right? Wille can’t date their boss let alone mate them. And Simon can’t date his personal bodyguard, that’d be unprofessional!

And that’s the other problem, Edvin thinks as he crosses to the cupboard and pulls out the bottle of red his parents gifted him for a special occasion (which probably meant for when you propose to your girlfriend), that he’s not thinking about proposing. He’s not thinking about his girlfriend at all.
