Summary
In an effort to stop feeling anxious about his relationship with Alhaitham, Kaveh decides to build confidence with a simple attempt at seduction—but forgets one hairy little detail that could massively derail his plans.
For as long as Kaveh has lived with him, Alhaitham has always been incredibly good at managing his condition and its triggers. He’s already prone to a cold and rational demeanor, and he takes pains to live a simple life that contains few stressors.
Unfortunately, that makes it so very easy for Kaveh to forget that Alhaitham even is afflicted with a dangerous condition.
“Oh, Celestia,” Kaveh murmurs, as he races past a baffled couple taking a moonlit stroll down Treasures Street.

Varka was a man past his prime, he knew that well. He knew it in the way wrinkles had formed below his eyes and his smile lines deepened. He knew it in the way the training dummy near the Knights headquarters went down in slightly more than an instant now. Most annoyingly, he knew it in the way he had started to hurt everywhere. His back, his knees, his hips. A life of epic battles and more epic expeditions had started catching up with him. He wasn’t weak by any means, but looking down the barrel of the latter half of his life made him sweat.
So he searched for a workaround.
Or…
Varka uses possibly the worst remedy ever to treat being old, and turns into a werewolf because of it.
