Ladybug's and Chat's friendships are weakened due to all half-baked attempts to help her. Misunderstandings piled up during all these years and it was clear that Adrien and Marinette has not gained lifelong friends from all fights with Hawkmoth.
They decided to give their future one more chance.

I've read it long time ago.
I will bookmark it now for the last chapter.
It's not something I would normally add as I do not like the view on the canon with zero communication between parties.
I am ok with some uncertainties, but if the story is using the idea that Adrien has no clue about the Ladybug identity, and Marinette has no clue about Chat/Adrien situation... the canon is open for this view, but for truth it makes Fu/Marinette the worst part as they are like groundhog with power to blame humans for broken ankles. -

It's a concentrated view of a big part of the fandom on many things existing in the canon and it is the main reason why I'm bookmarking this story.

Summary
Marinette leaves Alya in charge of babysitting the kwamis for a few days.
Soon after she gives Alya the miracle box, Marinette falls and hits her head, obtaining a major concussion with slight memory loss.
When she wakes up in the hospital and everyone is treating her weirdly, suspicions poke at her.
Inconstancies, flashes of memories, and way too much pampering leads Marinette on a hunt to figure out what was going on. Along the way, secrets are revealed.
