“Brick walls. Robes. Candles. A lot of owls,” she listed, grimacing. “Oh, and I’m pretty sure I saw some kid waving a stick around like it was a deadly weapon.”
Kim Dokja didn’t need her to say anything else. The pieces clicked together in an instant, and something bright and distinctly unwise bubbled up in his chest. The corners of his mouth betrayed him before he could stop them, pulling into a small, excited smile.
Joonghyuk caught it immediately. His gaze sharpened, turning on Kim Dokja with the kind of focus usually reserved for enemies. “You know,” he accused.
“I don’t know anything,” Kim Dokja replied far too quickly.
A sharp ping rang through the air a moment later, followed by the unmistakable sensation of two skills activating at once.

“Why did you...”, Yoo Joonghyuk grumbled in frustration. Why was this guy always doing stupid things without asking?
He reached out, wanting to remove the collar right away, but a surprisingly strong grip around his wrist stopped him midway.
