Summary
The Fourth Shinobi War wasn't going well. Shinobi were dying right-left-and-center. Ono Toshiko had done what she could to avoid it - and failed.
Her little brother had a plan. A fail-safe. A seal attached to her heart, mind, and chakra network so that if his latest knuckle-headed scheme to fix their world failed, there would still be hope.
She agreed but prayed nonetheless that a miracle would occur and after the war was over Naruto would take the seal off of her.
She should have known better.
After all - if there were deities listening, they clearly had no mercy for a reincarnated soul. Especially not enough to *not* force her to do it all over again. Only in a new body, and a new time.

Summary
"Hatake Komugi, Tsunade's first apprentice and the best Shinobi of her generation, rumored to be the next Hokage," Pein said, his rinnegan locked on her. "I wondered where you were."
She hummed, absently looking at what remained of Konoha. Naruto lay on the ground near Pein's feet, gaping at her. Other familiar faces had similar expressions; Her Shisho's stood by Sakura's side on what remained of the Hokage tower, and her glamour genjutsu was long gone.
Finally, after seconds in silence, Komugi looked at the man and eye-smiled, "Maaa, Pein-chan, there was this nasty black cat on the way, so I had to make a detour." (OC-Insert)
