Summary
(n.) Someone who hides pain behind a smile.
Marinette Dupain-Cheng gets hit by an Akuma, and Paris no longer gets to keep their beloved Ladybug (the world doesn't get to keep their beloved Ladybug).
Adrien tries to keep the city together, but when there's no one to magically take away the consequences of akumatized villains, the city isn't as forgiving toward their clumsy (their only) barrier against Hawkmoth's villainy.
Meanwhile, Marinette finds herself in a world she doesn't know, struggling to keep together the only link to her own world, and then keeps bumping into heroes who may or may not want to send her to CPS.

Marinette is just so perfect, so organized, so talented, that it’s hard for Raven to even look at her. At least Marinette had a boyfriend. A very hot, teal-eyed, musician boyfriend that seemed to understand her in ways that no one ever has before.
Damian has a girlfriend. A strong, competent, and frustrating partner that flips between hot and cold like a light switch. Being the loyal and trustworthy boyfriend he is, he would never dream of betraying their partnership for anyone. Not even for the beautiful, proficient, talented, kind, capable secretary that Tim has declared would be his future wife. Damn Drake to Hell! He's practically challenging him!

The first time Zuko met Aang was when he had snuck out of the palace at age 14.
Because somehow this led to Zuko finding a baby monk yelling his lungs out for help from the top of a tree that he was very clearly stuck in despite any possible air bending the young monk could have done.
And somehow, 2 years later this led to both boys being caught in a storm that had them frozen in ice for the next 100 years

In this reality he was still banished and given the impossible task of finding the avatar. He healed from the scar his father gave him and was booted to the far ends of the fire nation colonies. No crew, no ship, no uncle, he is all alone with nothing but his dual swords and a custom theater mask that his mother once owned. But despite the hardships he will forge his own path, and alter a few events on the way
