“Easy there,” a voice soothed as Sam gasped for breath. “Deep breaths in and out. You’re alright, sweet spark. You’re alright now.”

Earth barely managed to avoid its own annihilation thanks to the last second assistance of new alien visitors. Slowly, civilizations that had been nearly destroyed through nuclear warfare, famine, and disease are rebuilt with the Autobots' help.
But the Autobots' assistance isn't entirely altruistic. Earth has something they want. Because mixed with the millions of others are humans with spark signatures and the potential to become sparklings. And the Autobots who had believed they were doomed to a slow extinction, have no intention of letting their new little ones go.

Summary
Most people like to believe they’d survive the apocalypse. The twins were certain they’d be the first to go, back when humans nearly annihilated Earth through war and disease. But the end of the world turned out to reward adaptability in the worst situations and utter stubborness.
Against their own expectations, they survived. Then kept surviving, even when navigating being taken in by alien robots that call them 'sparklings'.
They moved like the twin stars that made up the gemini constellation—gravity damning them to never be apart, rules never sticking and authority never landing in their orbit. The twins listened to no one but each other, operating on the same wavelength and ignoring everything else… except, apparently, other twins who seem wired the same way (to everyone's surprise).

Summary
Mara always struggled to stay healthy most of her life. But when you get thrown into a war torn apocalypse that becomes slightly more difficult. She's honestly surprised she's lasted this long she thought she would have died due to some random new mutant virus or something. But here she is still breathing... well more so wheezing but you get the point.
After surviving on her own for so long there is finally a light at the end of the tunnel and it's in the form of alien robots from space... Yeah that part is a little jarring once you realize that the president wasn't lying about that. Mara had never seen one until recently. She's heard all kinds of rumors about the aliens, there striking blue eyes, and their large metal bodies able to turn into vehicles. There was also the rumors of them kidnapping people seemingly at random. But that one had to be a lie... what use would giant alien robots find in tiny organic humans?
Oh well at least Mara knows that they won't bother her. She highly doubted they would want to kidnap some human that gets sick on a dime.

Summary
Alexandria, the daughter of General Bryce, was beside herself when the Autobots requested her to be their Ambassador. Hope had come from the stars to heal the broken world, and she could not be more eager to help in saving mankind.
But after months learning and bonding with these extraterrestrials, she has begun to realize something is very, very wrong. The Autobots are kind, but almost too kind. Too indulgent. And too dismissive of humans. And they are interfering with her communications to the outside world.
For her own safety, she flees the Autobot base before the situation escalates.
She has no idea just how much she means to the Autobots, and to their leader Optimus Prime. Or the lengths they will go to not lose even one sparkling.
