Her right leg and arm hugged her life-sized bubblerbeast, Monsieur Bulles, and the lower half of her face was hidden behind his plush—a good thing, since she was drooling a little.
Clorinde was sitting on the bed, her hand on Furina's shoulder. In her dazed state, the girl couldn't read the neutral expression in her former bodyguard's face. Her lips were closed in a thin line, and her cheeks were slightly flushed. Weird."

Furina herself wasn’t in a much better state. Her body was suddenly coming alive under the Harbinger’s touch and her brain wouldn’t shut up, justifying the wrongness of it with fact upon fact. It was almost a relief when Arlecchino’s tongue found its way to her lips and Furina’s mind went completely blank."

Summary
In Fontaine resides a great chef, going by the name Escoffier, she is considered the best of the best, even the former archon has praised her cooking! And in the past, that would almost be sufficient.
However, the great chef has two problems. For one, her long held secret has finally come out to the public, and her worries on how to deal with it might affect the quality of her cooking.
Secondly…..The current ruler of Fontaine, Iudex Neuvilette, has yet to give feedback on her food! And she simply must right this, one way or another….
(Or:Escoffier deals with being perceived differently and her own perfectionism, as well as getting a new outlook and outfit in life.)
