Summary
The old god of death has fallen and a new one is on the rise.
Lambert defeated Narinder, but while the betrayal stung, his devotion and his loyalty to his former god still lingers underneath the surface.
But having one scorned ex-god residing in his cult isn't where the new probles end. Some cult members suddenly display demonic abilities, the Mystic Seller demands that the Bishops get released from purgatory and with the realms closing themself to the cult, The Lamb has no choice than to oblige. All the while, dange lurks closer and in places where it might be least expected.
On top of all that, Lambert isn't really thrilled about becoming the next god of death.
But if he has no say in the matter, if he has to become a god eather way, he will at least do it his way.---------------------------------------------------

But theory wasn't practice.Stone flooring burst into cracks and sharp edged shards as the axe collided with it, though there was no roaring laughter following it this time around. Metal clashed against metal not a moment later as the next swing was parried. Golden Cheese winced under the force of the impact, using her entire weight to stand her ground.
She couldn't risk hurting him, loved him to much to do so. If only she could get through to him...maybe than she could free Burning Spice from the monster pulling his strings!
