Yuuji shuffles on his feet, having already tried to pull his face back to no avail. His words are a bit muffled as he speaks.
“There’s not much. We’re just a normal family. Pink hair has run in our blood since the beginning of the house but it wasn’t until I was born with these marks that people started asking questions. Nothing specific was found but I guess… you’re kind of like my uncle? But like, really old.”
Sukuna rolls his eyes at being called old, letting Yuuji go who rubs at his jaw to soothe the reddening skin.
“It’s no matter. Of what use will you be, hm?”

He lets go with a harsh shove, Yuuji landing on his ass, and stalks off, his cronies trailing after him, chuckling.
Yuuji sits there, head hanging low as he grabs his now ruined things, hands trembling.
Anyone with eyes to see feels sorry for him, wanting to help but knowing better with Sukuna still in earshot. His form shakes, looking like he’s stifling cries and the pity only increases tenfold.
If anyone actually looked, however, they’d see Yuuji wasn’t crying at all.
Instead he was trying not to laugh, cheeks red with an exhilarated look on his face.
Sukuna was right about one thing; there was something off about Yuuji. He’s really good at hiding it but Sukuna is scarily smart, clocking it on sight the moment it started developing and things started changing between them.
Yuuji Itadori is, in fact, a massive masochist. Sukuna does not know this particular part and he’ll never find out, either. Mostly because it wasn’t always this way.

“I thought the sirens were all dead?”
The ocean’s, believed extinct, most natural and dangerous predator. They’re large, ravenous, and insanely strong. Worse still was their voice, able to evoke whatever emotion they wanted their prey to feel.
Their penchant for violence made them a feared subject in any age except this one, where they shouldn’t even exist. Clearly, the entire ocean was wrong.
