Summary
A routine mission to deal with a small time group of thieves goes south when Tommy finds himself in the middle of a Syndicate operation. Thieves or not, people were in danger and Tommy was a hero.
Hopelessly outmatched Tommy intervenes, handing an even better prize to the Syndicate on a silver platter. But before the Syndicate’s most sadistic leader can turn his latest catch into another pawn in his game, said sidekick throws himself in harm's way in order to save the villain's life.
The Syndicate always repays its debts, even to heroes. A life for a life. But this victory for Order came at the cost of the Syndicate’s claim on one unaware sidekick. And no one escapes the Syndicate.

Summary
Akaashi hadn't had the chance to choose the path his life would take, but he would make sure his son, Hinata, would not suffer the same fate. As a soldier he had been able to keep them both safe, but as a lieutenant the Commander's eyes had started to get too close for comfort.
Too bad not all instincts can be won and other people's ignorance is going to cost him possibly too much.
All he can do is trust in the Gods to eventually bring him home.

Summary
He lets Techno hold him after his outbursts, exhausted and drained, lets the piglin chuff and purr and take care of him.
It was his only source of comfort throughout all of this, when Techno would hold him and let him doze off in his arms, all bundled up and warm, fed and sleepy. It was funny to think that his kidnapper was his source of comfort out in the snowy forests of Antartica, but here he was.
Slowly he was starting to see Techno less and less as a predator, and more like a friend if anything. It was kind of terrifying how fast his instincts switched up on him, latching onto Techno like a life line. He hates it— he hates it so fucking much but theres no way he can just stop it from happening.
Or Tommy, after being revealed as an avian, is kidnapped by Techno as a gift for Phil.
