Summary

In a raging storm, Cas saves an injured seal, only for it to transform into a man. As a fallen angel, Cas knows all about the supernatural – he takes the selkie inside expecting him to recover by morning.
But things are far from that simple – the selkie barely remembers how to talk and has no recollection of having a human form. He can only remember his first name – Dean. Cas helps him recover, knowing exactly what it’s like to feel like the entire world is foreign, like your own body is the enemy. They chip away at the mysteries shrouding Dean’s past and become inextricably intertwined in the process.

Summary
They meet at a new faculty orientation, two weeks before term starts.
It's at the meet-and-greet for this committee that Jon notices him for the first time. He'd seen him throughout the day, of course, what with only five or so other new faculty at the orientation, but they'd not been partnered up in any of the icebreakers or placed into the same small discussion group during lunch.

It's Jon's first year as a professor at Magnus University, where he thinks his fellow committee member is out to get him. Rather, Martin thinks they got off on an awkward foot but reconcile quickly and end up flirting at every meeting.
