Summary
Secret business draws Hades out of the Underworld, leaving zir youngest daughter to take up the throne. Things in the Underworld are crumbling and broken and Kore, the new Underworld Lord, is left to pick up the pieces. The passage of times wears on Kore and the more time passes, the more she fears becoming the same cold-hearted and malicious god as Hades. Fury is meant to torment mortals for their sins, but the sins of Kore's father make her the target of Fury's pursuit. What is Kore meant to do when she's forced to take the next step to becoming like her father in a desperate attempt to hold the Underworld together? Persephone won't come willingly.

After Leto and Cory's divorce, they're struggling to get back into the new school year and grappling with so much that has changed but seems final. Their adult children don't know which parent they're allowed to speak to and when, let alone each other. Both Leto and Cory just want to throw themselves into their teaching work and get on with the semester. Unbeknownst to the other, they both end up teaching the same student in their elective classes.
Tang's struggling to get over her ex. It's her last year at university, and she'll graduate just fine, but she wants to be better than fine and prove that she can have a successful school year. Still, Tang is a bit of a disaster and impulsive at the best and worst of times. When she meets two of her new professors, it's difficult not to be drawn to them. After all, both of them look shocking similar to her ex. It'd be a bad decision to flirt, but Tang is the princess of bad decisions.
