Cal Kestis, an omega Jedi, had known Grogu at the Jedi Temple. With his foundling overjoyed at the reunion, Din makes a point to get to know Cal. Immediately, he is drawn to the other omega. Something about him is charming and warm. As the two begin to work together on jobs, Din finds himself growing closer and closer to the Jedi and suddenly they all feel like family. The kind of family Din wants to build a nest for and make permanent.
