Regulus Black first met Harry Potter, the younger brother of James Potter, in his second year. When Potter (his brother's best friend) talked about 'Hazza's lethal puppy eyes,' he hardly believed in their power.
Little did he realise how wrong he was.
The two soon became friends, bonding over their Seeker position in Quidditch as well as their annoying older brothers.
It was only in his fifth year that Regulus decided to pursue Harry in earnest.
