Buck snaps. He pushes off the couch and crowds into Eddie’s space.
“Is this what you wanted?” He spits, pushing hard enough against Eddie’s chest that he takes a step backwards. “Hmm? You want me to lose it on you?”
Or, Eddie cannot handle Buck pretending to be fine about his move to Texas. He, in fact, refuses to let him.

Buck caught Chimney moving to intervene between them but the words were already falling past Buck’s lips before he even realized he was speaking.
“I have a boyfriend.”
Buck stopped when he registered the words.
So, did Chimney before he shot Buck a look over his shoulder like Buck had grown a second head. Probably because, like Buck, Chimney knew that Buck did not have a boyfriend. In fact, he’d been single for a painfully long time since he and Taylor split up. Single and probably very obviously hung up on his best friend who didn’t seem to notice the way Buck would throw himself into oncoming traffic if Eddie asked.

"Why'd you ask me out?" Shinsou asked, finally looking up at the other.
"..." Bakugou bites his tongue.
"You're fucking weird." He states. It wasn't intended to be an answer to his question.
Shinsou laughs again. "Didn't think you'd have such odd taste." He looks away from the other now. "Though, I'm happy. I've never really done this before." Shinsou closes his eyes. "It's kinda nice."
Bakugou feels the tar-like guilt swell in his throat, trying to choke him.

Bakugou's stupid fucking friends dare him to ask stupid fucking Shinsou out on a date. It was an awful idea and it should have stayed as a one time only thing.
Only, it doesn't, as the more Bakugou learns about Shinsou, the more shrouded in mystery he becomes, and the more determined Bakugou becomes to not only learn about Shinsou and every one of his scars, but to rescue him as well.
