Summary
Wei Ying had always been told that he would be cut off from the family at eighteen, Madam Yu would not have needed to put up with him any longer after that. However, after his presentation, a new path was created for his future which changed everything he had been preparing for. After five years of living in America, studying to become a Forensic Pathologist, Wei Ying receives a letter in the mail which forces him to come face to face with what he'd been trying to avoid all of these years. —Yo... — Wei WuXian se mordió el labio inferior torpemente, sin encontrar las palabras adecuadas para hablar.
«¿De cuándo aca eres un idiota que no sabes que decir?», se regaño el Omega internamente. Sentía la garganta seca, así que tragó saliva con dificultad. No podía permitir que Lan WangJi lo viera tan vulnerable, así que se obligó a levantar su rostro mientras adoptaba una expresión despreocupada.
—Sí, estoy embarazado —confirmó Wei WuXian con voz clara y firme, sosteniendo la mirada fija y severa del Alfa.
—¿Por qué no me lo dijiste? —cuestionó Lan WangJi con evidente molestia.
—Porque nada iba a cambiar si te lo decía —soltó de inmediato, manteniendo el mentón en alto a pesar del nudo que seguía creciendo en su garganta.

Fingir que todo está bajo control es fácil… hasta que ya no lo está.
Wei WuXian y Lan WangJi llevan meses separados, aprendiendo a estructurar una rutina parental por el bien de su hijo y estableciendo límites que les recuerdan que ya no son la pareja que fueron. Funciona. O al menos, eso es lo que ambos se repiten.
