“Hello?”
She whirls around on her knees, gasping as she looks up at the most handsome face she’s ever seen. He’s tall and broad-shouldered, red on his breast like a robin, his eyes the prettiest blue, wide and staring at her.
He seems just as struck by her as she is by him. Her cheeks color, flushing under his scrutiny where she is on her knees. She tries to right herself, but finds that her knees are unsteady, her ankles weak. She stumbles and he reaches forward to catch her, his strong arms wrapping around her without thought.
He’s warm and so large, he’s perfect. The machine flashes with joy inside her skull, urging her onward, filling her with the urge to touch him, to press close, to soothe his aches and reward his bravery for finding her.
She stares up into his eyes, smiles so brightly, and puts her hand upon his chest. His heart is racing too, at the same pace as hers. “There you are, Darling,” she murmurs, and cups his cheek. “What took you so long?”

Summary
Alfred needs money. He works in an obscure Russian restaurant, lives in a shitty apartment with his ex, and rent is on the rise. He thinks he’s found the perfect gig—Until his side job draws the attention of some of Manhattan’s less savory characters. He grows close to one, a mob boss referred to as the “Old Bear.” Ivan Braginsky may offer protection, and even a way to make quick cash. Then again, he could also prove the least savory of them all.

Summary
What starts off as a purely physical crush on the part of Alfred Kirkland towards the new gym teacher, Mister Braginsky, quickly spirals out of control and into something much more. Can Alfred's best friend Kiku Honda keep him from falling in too deep, or will the problems Alfred isn't willing to notice or admit end up weighing them down... for that matter, what is it that Mister Braginsky is hiding, anyway?
Originally written as a fill on the Hetalia Kinkmeme on Livejournal back in 2011 asking for Teacher/Student RusAme. Like the character's lives, the fic kind of spiralled out of control. Minor editing has been done as I repost, and hopefully finish here. I'll try to clarify in the notes if any chapter includes heavy editing, and will update characters, relationships, and tags as the chapters that include more are added.
Main Pairing in this fic is Russia/America, any other pairings are side pairings. Note: Hellah age difference. As in at the start America is 16 and Russia is 39.

Vanya just wanted to relax after another insufferable conference by kicking back at a bar with a stiff drink, but he finds himself suddenly stuck with his loudmouthed 'coworker' - Alfred. When the American offers him a drink back at his hotel room, he begrugingly obliges as a means of diplomacy. Of course, it only really started with a drink.
