Seeing the prideful god of the fire and flame, utterly blissed out and boneless after these rituals was a sight to see. Even when spent, washed clean of seed in Hermann’s private bath, they lingered in languid kisses until they’d fall asleep in each other’s arms.
Though they tried to keep their affair discreet, rumors still spread among the devout. It did not help that one or two particularly keen artisans had approached the temple to sculpt them together. Azar had lain his head on Hermann’s lap while the latter played with his raven locks, in full view of their followers and visitors. Myself and the other priests would dismiss this as them just contributing to the local arts, though the kiss they shared afterwards did not help.
The flame god was absolutely smitten by his watery paramour, and he did not care who bore witness to their affection.

After a few missions together turn accidentally weird but undeniably sexy, Flambae asks Waterboy out on a real date, minus the work interruptions. When Waterboy admits how inexperienced he is, Flambae assures him that's he's a good teacher, and Waterboy's proven to be hiding how naturally gifted he really is. What follows is Flambae discovering how far asking the right way will take him.
This can be read as a standalone but does follow the end of the previous fic where Flambae asks Waterboy if they can continue seeing each other romantically.

Another brutal surge hit, and Waterboy squeezed his thighs, willing the flood inside him back long enough for him to release his full power at the right time.

As wildfires burn through forest and City of L.A., Flambae and Waterboy are sent to the fireline to douse the flames. Waterboy resorts to using a secret ability that increases his water expulsion, but comes with dire, wet consequences. Along the way, Waterboy navigates his unstable powers, his misbehaving bladder and a strange, budding relationship with his fiery colleague.

Summary
It is the early years of Jayce and Viktor's scientific partnership, and the Distinguished Innovators competition is only three days away. That is, if they can get all the work done for it in time when Jayce is exhausted, overworked, and at risk of burning out entirely before they even make it there.
So when Jayce jokingly asks Viktor to take control and tell him what to do, in the hopes that it will help Jayce relax and get some much needed sleep before the competition, he was not expecting Viktor to so readily oblige. Nor was he expecting what happened after.
