Volt leans down and kisses you, one hand on the back of the booth and the other planted on the table, effectively caging you in. You don't resist. It's tonight's game after all.
Volt and Eddie both have a goal: to kiss you five times (at least). The problem is you've pitted them against each other. Every time that Volt kisses you, Eddie is set back to zero, and the same is true for Volt when Eddie kisses you. Until one of them gets to five, you're refusing to get involved in any touching or games. So basically, Volt and Eddie have to work together and decide which of them is going to kiss you five times in a row so that they both can have you.
You're curious to see how long it will be before they're getting in each other's ways, or if they’re actually capable of working things out and getting this game over with quickly. Your money is on them being very competitive and drawing this out all evening.
Volt grabs your chin and rubs his thumb back and forth over your bottom lip when he pulls away. "That's two. I don’t think that this shall be much of a challenge at all. Especially when you give in so easily."
You shiver. "I'm not giving into anything."

"Stupid human," Adrian hisses. "You would give up your chance for him just like that?"

“Do we really have to spell it out for you?” Eddie asks, his cheeks red.
Your own face feels as heated as his looks. You glance at Volt, at the hand he has extended towards you. You’re flattered; there’s no other word for the fluttery feeling in your chest. You’ve really been through the wringer with these two men standing before you at the bar, and you can’t imagine leaving their sides now.
And yet…
You remember Dorian’s warning, about the seedy nature of your breaker box. You think about the trouble the two of them have already gotten you into—Eddie’s strong arms cradling you to his chest at the foot of the fallen ladder and Volt’s lips pressed maddeningly to yours under the hazy club lights. It’s not really trouble. You sense no bad intentions. But at the same time, you’ve never felt this way about anyone—let alone two someones.
Imagining real intimacy with them terrifies you. What if it’s not everything you hope it will be? What if it is, and you become addicted? You look at Eddie again, and he raises a concerned brow at you. Could you take the leap and content yourself with drowning in the two of them?

The heavy smell of ozone permeates the air, and Eddie can feel it here in the darkness: lightning struck the house. He starts to panic, starts to anticipate the pain and the draining feeling of a full outage. It’s been years since he’s had to go through one. It occurs to him a moment later through the haze that the last time one happened, Volt wasn’t around yet.
Volt. He has to find Volt.
The pain he was expecting doesn’t come. In fact, their connection starts to pulse and ebb under his skin and Eddie almost wants to scratch at himself. He feels jittery. He feels hot. The lights click back on, and they’re brighter than they have been in weeks, droning with overwhelming power.
Eddie tries to find Volt in the crowd of confused and worried patrons, and he hears two light bulbs pop in quick succession. He looks over in the direction of the sound, near the stairs to their loft apartment, and sees Volt down on his knees, one fist bracing himself against the wall and the other wrapped tightly around his own torso. He’s trembling and panting and blushing cyan down to the collar of his shirt.
