Summary
Jawbone has seen him do this before, and has gotten him to brainstorm a list of alternatives, but in the moment that list goes out the window and he’s running, running, running again. Away from and towards something and his heart is beating too loudly in his chest but it’s fine, it’s all good, Riz is a fucking level nine rogue, he can book it if he wants to.
Riz and running and stars and friends.

Summary
Riz thinks for a moment, because it's Ayda asking. It's not that his other friends don't care - he knows they do (I love my friends and they love me) - but sometimes they're easier to brush off when they ask questions like this. Ayda's curiosity is so vast, and her attention so focused, that being the object of her genuine interest is simultaneously flattering and terrifying.
He wants to try, though. He thinks that if he can explain it to Ayda, maybe he can explain it to others. Maybe he can finally explain it to himself.
(Riz is having feelings about being aro and Ayda wants to understand.)

Summary
Nick glanced over at his dad, who had fully leaned back in his chair. His long hair, peppered with a bit of gray, had a streak of red that Nick had never noticed before. It was faded, like he hadn’t dyed it recently, so Nick felt bad for only noticing it just now. He was still curious, though. “Glenn,” he said. “Why do you have that streak in your hair?"
He looked over at Nick and squinted. “What? Oh,” he said, realizing what Nick was talking about. He grabbed the streak between two fingers and pulled it across his head so that it was in front of his face. “It’s, uh, a long story.”
(Glenn is pretty much a stranger to Nick and Morgan. That doesn’t stop them from trying to figure him out.)
