After years of romance arcs with women, soap opera actor Steve finally lands his first gay-romance storyline, starring opposite daytime heartthrob Bucky Barnes. Their return-from-the-dead/amnesia/fireman/vigilante plot looks like a guaranteed ratings success; all Steve has to do is control his crush and keep things professional with Bucky.

The intro and ending to this fic are both so funny I have to bookmark it. This may contain one of the most cannon accurate depictions of Lino and he's barely in the fic for a few paragraphs. Also the smut is hot.

Summary
On a trip to Boston, Taylor Hebert and her father were caught in the middle of a battle between the Teeth and the Boston Protectorate. In her panic to protect her father, Taylor may have made an ill-advised decision, suffocating Butcher XIV. Now that she's become the new Butcher, Taylor took a careful look at her options before deciding that the only reasonable decision would be to join the Wards. Surely this plan has absolutely no problems.
I've written enough of this story for me to free it from my snippets collection. I am planning on going back to some of my older stories as well, but my muse is easily distracted by shinies and I've always had a fascination for Butcher!Taylor. Heavily inspired by Inheritance, Nemesis, and Butcher of the Wards, I wanted to explore what it would look like if Taylor inherited and decided that the only way to keep from being a voice in somebody else's head was to take advantage of that infamous Ward status--after all, everyone knows that killing a Ward is practically an instant kill order.
