Summary
The Blight has ended, and now Alistair sits on the Fereldan throne, in a sham of a marriage with his half-brother's widow—none of it by his own choice. But that's okay. He's too busy to dwell, what with all this very important, kingly paperwork he has to do.
That's when he senses it—the familiar tug of another tainted being in Denerim.
And the last person he ever wants to see again.
Still, he doesn't have time to care about all that, or the ensuing parade of old travel companions dropping in on flimsy pretenses to check up on how he’s doing (and make sure he’s not sitting on the throne in his underlinens, eating his feelings and a whole wheel of cheese). He's got important work to do.
Like figuring out how to avoid this awkward question of producing an heir…

Summary
Mirenan Lavellan should have been born a mage. Instead, she's a hunter who can't hunt, the failure of her clan, and now the Inquisition's most shameful secret. In an Inquisition built around a god she does not worship with few she can call allies much less friends, all she wants is to go back to the clan she chose to leave. Given little choice, she agrees to play the role of faceless Herald to save Thedas from the rifts, but how long will it be until she messes this up too? And will she make it back in time for the next Wintersmelt, to answer the question she wears around her wrist?

Summary
The Anchor has made me their tool, but it has not earned me their trust. Do you think they’d believe any warning I brought them?
In a future Redcliffe of red lyrium and demons, Mirenan Lavellan convinces Dorian to make one small change to the spell that will transport them back to the time where they belong—a change to ensure their companions go back as well, memories of the dark future intact. But it’s no easy thing to alter such a complicated spell, and afterwards, Mirenan wakes up in a Fereldan alienage with no Anchor and no vallaslin. And it seems today is her wedding day…
As Mirenan finds herself retracing the events of the Fifth Blight, will her choices doom Ferelden to the darkspawn? Or is returning to her proper time worth any price?

Summary
In the years since Corypheus' defeat, Inquisitor Dascha Cadash has become used to many things. Her empty bed, with her lover Thom away with the Gray Wardens. Her duty dictated to her by her advisors, unable to trust her judgment. Even the Nightmares that plague her each night in defiance of her status as a dwarf, and the accompanying pain as the Anchor grows increasingly unstable.
When she is sent to the Deep Roads to investigate suspicious earthquakes on behalf of Orzammar, Dascha expected to find little more than close-minded dwarves and some old rocks. Instead, she finds a friend in Shaper Valta and a mystery more ancient than known dwarven history. A story exploring The Descent with a dwarf who dreams, and takes that aftermath with her to the Exalted Council.

Summary
In her early years, Sera rarely set foot outside the Market District in Denerim. The "modest" estate of her adoptive mother Lady Emmald, the streets where she played with her friends, the elven alienage where she never fit in, a mysterious house at the end of an alleyway—these were the backdrop of all she knew, and all she lost, in childhood.
Now sixteen, Sera is drawn back to her childhood home, to see old friends and confront painful memories.

Summary
Mahariel's long exposure to the Taint leaves her forever changed, the Darkspawn whispering in her mind night and day. Alistair attempts to reconcile the more troublesome parts of his identity with his desire to fade into the background. Morrigan finds herself in the mortifying predicament of caring about them both.
An account of the Fifth Blight, featuring three queer disasters with intimacy issues and an uncomfortable awareness of their own mortality. Will likely be high on body horror.

I broke down El'vhen into component parts and replaced the elided apostrophes. This is still fan fic, because despite having a linguistics minor, I could be very wrong. But if I'm not too far off, it should give us the tools to make new words.
It's mostly all translated from canon sources, Katiebour's Cypher, and the wiki.
This dictionary, as much as I adore it & will continue working on it, is an absolute time sink. I could put more time into it if I had supporters for my knowledge & the time I use for it. My patreon is here: https://www.patreon.com/kaijarayne even $1 a month is more than I had before.
I am violently against AI. Do NOT put ANY of my work into ANY AI system, including Deep-L. I'm happy to provide phrases and translations if you ask.

kaija.rayneI can't do anything about scrapers. But willfully putting my years of work on this project into any variety of AI is absolutely offensive.
AI is *awful*. Putting someone else’s work into one is not only copyright violation, it means you should take a good, hard look at yourself in the mirror and ask yourself what are you doing?
