The man nodded. “Eddie Diaz, nice to meet you-?”
“Evan Buckley, but everyone calls me Buck. I was an EMT at the 118 before I switched to nursing. Still tight with the captain. Bobby Nash?” Buck peeled off his glove as he stepped out into the hall and let his co-worker get her new patient settled in. He’d grab a blanket and that nursing student that was frolicking around somewhere in a minute, but for now, he took Eddie’s hand in his and shook.
